See full prescribing information for LuciMomel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>INDICATIONS AND USAGE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>LuciMomel is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of intermediate or high-risk myelofibrosis (MF), including primary MF or secondary MF [post\u00a0polycythemia vera (PV) and post-essential thrombocythemia (ET)], in adults with anemia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Recommended dosage: 200 mg orally once daily with or without food.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh Class C): Reduce the starting dose to 150 mg orally once daily.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOSAGE FORMS AND STRENGTHS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tablets: 100\u00a0mg\u00d730\u00a0tablets<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>CONTRAINDICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>None.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Risk of Infections: Do not initiate LuciMomel in patients with an active infection. Monitor for signs and symptoms of infection, including reactivation of hepatitis B, and initiate appropriate treatment promptly.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Thrombocytopenia and Neutropenia: Manage by dose reduction or interruption.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Hepatotoxicity: Obtain liver tests before initiation of and periodically throughout treatment with LuciMomel.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events (MACE): Monitor for symptoms, evaluate and treat promptly.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Thrombosis: Evaluate and treat symptoms of thrombosis promptly.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Malignancies: Monitor for development of secondary malignancies, particularly in current or past smokers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ADVERSE REACTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The most common adverse reactions (\u226520% in either study) are thrombocytopenia, hemorrhage, bacterial infection, fatigue, dizziness, diarrhea, and nausea.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DRUG INTERACTIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Organic Anion Transporting Polypeptide (OATP)1B1\/B3 inhibitors: Monitor for adverse reactions.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (BCRP) substrates: Reduce rosuvastatin (BCRP substrate) dosage. Follow approved product information recommendations for other BCRP substrates.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Pregnancy: May cause fetal harm.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Lactation: Advise not to breastfeed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Storage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Store at 20\u2103\u00a0to 25\u2103\u00a0(68\u2109\u00a0to 77\u2109), excursions permitted between 15\u2103\u00a0and 30\u2103\u00a0(59\u2109\u00a0and 86\u2109) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature].
