INDICATIONS AND USAGE<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

LuciRit is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of severe alopecia areata in adults and adolescents 12 years and older. <\/span><\/p>\n

Limitations of Use: Not recommended for use in combination with other JAK inhibitors, biologic immunomodulators, cyclosporine or other potent immunosuppressants.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 For recommended testing, evaluations and immunizations prior to LuciRit initiation, see Full Prescribing Information. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Recommended dosage is 50 mg orally once daily. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 For dosage interruption for certain adverse reactions, see Full Prescribing Information. <\/span><\/p>\n

CONTRAINDICATIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

LuciRit is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ritlecitinib or any of its excipients.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Hypersensitivity: Discontinue LuciRit if a clinically significant hypersensitivity reaction occurs.  <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Laboratory Abnormalities: Perform ALC and platelet counts prior to LuciRit initiation. Treatment interruption or discontinuation are recommended based on ALC and platelet count abnormalities.  <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Vaccinations: Avoid use of live vaccines during or shortly prior to LuciRit treatment. <\/span><\/p>\n

ADVERSE REACTIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Most common adverse reactions (incidence \u22651%) are headache, diarrhea, acne, rash, urticaria, folliculitis, pyrexia, atopic dermatitis, dizziness, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, herpes zoster, red blood cell count decreased, and stomatitis.<\/span><\/p>\n

DRUG INTERACTIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Certain CYP3A substrates: Additional monitoring and dose adjustment of CYP3A substrate should be considered. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Certain CYP1A2 substrates: Additional monitoring and dose adjustment of CYP1A2 substrate should be considered. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Certain CYP3A inducers: Coadministration with strong inducers of CYP3A is not recommended.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Lactation: Breastfeeding not recommended. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Severe Hepatic Impairment: Not recommended. <\/span><\/p>\n

Store at 20\u2103 to 25\u2103 (68\u2109 to 77\u2109), excursions permitted between 15\u2103 and 30\u2103 (59\u2109 and 86\u2109) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]. Protect from moisture. <\/span><\/p>\n
