INDICATIONS AND USAGE<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

LuciDela is a kinase inhibitor indicated for the treatment of patients with:  <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Relapsed chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), in combination with rituximab, in patients for whom rituximab alone would be considered appropriate therapy due to other co-morbidities. <\/span><\/p>\n

Limitations of use: <\/span><\/p>\n

LuciDela is not indicated and is not recommended for first-line treatment of any patient, including patients with CLL, small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), follicular lymphoma (FL), and other indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas. <\/span><\/p>\n

LuciDela is not indicated and is not recommended in combination with bendamustine and rituximab, or in combination with rituximab for the treatment of patients with FL, SLL, and other indolent non-Hodgkin lymphomas. <\/span><\/p>\n

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Recommended dosage: 150 mg orally twice daily. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Tablets: 150 mg\u00d760 tablets<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

CONTRAINDICATIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

History of serious hypersensitivity reactions to idelalisib, including anaphylaxis, or history of toxic epidermal necrolysis with any drug.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Severe Cutaneous Reactions: Monitor patients for the development of severe cutaneous reactions. Permanently discontinue LuciDela if confirmed. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Hypersensitivity Reactions: Permanently discontinue LuciDela and institute appropriate supportive measures. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Neutropenia: Monitor blood counts. Interrupt LuciDela until resolution and resume at reduced dose.  <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Embryo-fetal Toxicity: May cause fetal harm. Advise females of reproductive potential of potential risk to a fetus and to use effective contraception.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

ADVERSE REACTIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 The most common adverse reactions (incidence \u226530%) in patients treated with LuciDela in combination trials are diarrhea, pneumonia, pyrexia, fatigue, rash, cough, and nausea. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Common laboratory abnormalities are neutropenia, ALT elevations and AST elevations. <\/span><\/p>\n

DRUG INTERACTIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong CYP3A Inhibitors: Additional monitoring required if alternative therapy is not available. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Strong CYP3A Inducers: Avoid coadministration of strong CYP3A inducers.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 CYP3A Substrates: Avoid coadministration of sensitive CYP3A substrates. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lactation: Advise not to breastfeed. <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/span><\/p>\n

Storage <\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Store at 20\u00b0C to 25\u00b0C (68\u00b0F to 77\u00b0F), excursions permitted between 15\u00b0C and 30\u00b0C (59\u00b0F and 86\u00b0F) [see USP Controlled Room Temperature]. Protect from moisture. <\/span><\/p>\n
